Galvanised Steel is a suitable alternative to Stainless Steel which offers both an urban and rustic effect. However, Galvanised Steel does not have the same characteristics or resistance to staining as Stainless Steel and therefore additional care is needed. Galvanised Steel is not dishwasher safe and should be washed in warm, soapy water and dried immediately. This will help to prolong the life and appearance and prevent pitting and/or staining occurring. It is also recommended that when serving food to use a protective liner (such as greaseproof paper) to protect the material.
